AI Software Developer (Internal Tools)

- Design, build, and maintain internal web applications that automate workflows, reduce operational costs, and replace legacy or third-party tools.
- Translate business requirements into scalable software solutions using AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices.
- Identify opportunities for internal automation by evaluating existing systems, tools, and manual processes.
- Partner with stakeholders and leadership to scope, prioritize, and deliver high-impact internal software products.
- Develop integrations with external SaaS platforms through REST APIs and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Maintain clean, secure, and well-documented code following best practices in version control and deployment.
- Define and track performance metrics such as adoption, uptime, delivery speed, and cost savings from internal tools.
- Continuously improve development workflows by adopting emerging AI tools and best practices in software engineering.
- Ensure proper documentation and knowledge sharing to support long-term maintainability and scalability of internal systems.
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a proven ability to deliver production-ready applications quickly.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and/or Python.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Replit, Claude Code, or similar platforms.
- Experience integrating applications with third-party APIs and SaaS platforms using REST architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning, iterative delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate build-versus-buy decisions based on business impact.
- Understanding of software security, data privacy, and application reliability principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with international, cross-functional teams.
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker is a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise tools like HubSpot, Microsoft 365, or similar ecosystems is an advantage.
- Exposure to replacing SaaS tools with custom-built internal solutions is highly desirable.
