AI Software Developer
TLDR
Develop internal AI-powered web applications to replace manual workflows, accelerate delivery, and drive cost savings through rapid prototyping and cross-functional collaboration.
- Design, build, and maintain internal web applications that streamline operations and replace manual processes or third-party tools using AI-assisted development platforms.
- Partner with business leaders to identify software inefficiencies, evaluate build-versus-buy opportunities, and quantify potential cost savings from internal solutions.
- Develop scalable applications using modern web technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python, ensuring performance, maintainability, and security.
- Integrate internal tools with external SaaS platforms through REST APIs and other system integrations to enable seamless data flow across the organization.
- Manage full development lifecycle activities including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Maintain clear technical documentation, source control practices, and deployment standards to ensure long-term maintainability and team collaboration.
- Track and report key performance indicators such as tool adoption, uptime, delivery velocity, and cost savings achieved.
- 3+ years of experience building and delivering web applications with a proven ability to ship production-ready software efficiently.
- Strong proficiency in modern development stacks including JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Replit, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.
- Experience integrating applications with third-party APIs and SaaS platforms such as REST-based services.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) to collaborate effectively with international, US-based stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and iterative delivery cycles.
- Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs, prioritize based on business impact, and make sound build-versus-buy decisions.
- Bonus: experience with Docker or Kubernetes, SaaS replacement projects, and platforms such as HubSpot, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Zoho Recruit.
