Android Developer @ Zedge

Zedge is looking for a qualified EU-based Android developer to join our fast-growing team in Vilnius! Zedge is the # 1 phone personalization app in the world and helps you make sure your phone reflects you.

Tech stack:

Kotlin, MVVM, Reactive programming (RxJava, Flow, etc.), Dagger, Room (db), Retrofit, RESTful HTTP endpoints

Productivity: Gitlab, Google Cloud, Grafana, Swagger, JIRA, Confluence, Slack

Qualifications:

- Experience with Android development
- Experience with Kotlin is a plus
- Experience with MVVM architecture is a plus
- Experience with reactive programming (e.g. RxJava, Flow) is a plus
- Good collaboration skills
- A valid work permit to work in EU countries (if the candidate is not an EU resident).

Responsibilities:

- Android development within the scrum team (Zedge Ringtones/Wallpapers and Shortz apps)
- Work with the stakeholders to define and implement new features
- Develop new features in collaboration with designers
- Keep up-to-date with good practices and new Android platform features
- Ensure good quality through good testing practices
- Investigate and resolve challenging issues to ensure high quality and stability

- Monthly compensation of EUR 4000-5000 gross
