Assistant Manager, SME Sales (Ninja Direct)

As an SME Sales Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of the Ninja Direct business by managing a team of rockstar sales executives. You will also work directly with senior management in crafting the country's commercial strategy that helps us build better supply chain solutions to satisfy the needs of SME merchants in Malaysia.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The role sits within the Ninja Direct commercial team and reports to the Sales Manager, SME segment
• Collaborate with management on driving Ninja Direct’s SME sales strategy.
• Develop a keen understanding of our key customer segments and their business needs to drive customer value and market competitiveness
• Ensure productivity of the SME sales team through daily tracking of activities and performance.
• Ensure that the SME sales pipeline remains healthy by ensuring that all opportunities are being followed up upon.
• Develop sales executives’ understanding on key sales frameworks and important product knowledge
• Hire, train and groom sales executives into top performers and future leaders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable University
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales, sales management or business development role
• Proven track record of managing successful sales teams
• Strong knowledge of sales pipeline management and B2B sales
• Experience using CRM software e.g. Salesforce
• Knowledge on international logistics and freight forwarding preferred
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
