Business Continuity Specialist

At Allego, reliable services are critical to keeping electric mobility moving across Europe. As our business continues to scale, we need to ensure our technology, operations, and processes remain resilient, adaptable, and prepared for disruption before it happens.

We're looking for a Business Continuity Specialist who will strengthen operational resilience across the organization. This role is primarily focused on identifying risks, improving preparedness, and embedding resilience into day-to-day operations. While disaster recovery is part of the scope, the emphasis is on proactive resilience rather than reactive recovery.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Allego's Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework

• Drive operational resilience initiatives across business and technology teams

• Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and risk assessments

• Identify vulnerabilities and implement practical resilience improvements

• Define continuity strategies and resilience requirements for critical services

• Facilitate continuity and resilience testing exercises

• Establish policies, governance, and standards that strengthen organizational preparedness

• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to improve service reliability and resilience

• Monitor emerging risks and ensure resilience plans remain effective and relevant

• Support major incidents when required and contribute lessons learned to continuous improvement

• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical service disruptions when required

Requirements

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Risk Management, or a related field

• Experience building and improving BCM frameworks

• Strong understanding of operational resilience principles and risk management

• Experience conducting BIAs and resilience assessments

• Ability to translate risks into practical actions and measurable improvements

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Analytical, structured, and proactive approach

• Fluent in English

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IT Service Management and ITIL

• Experience with ISO 22301 and/or ISO 27001

• Experience within technology-driven or critical infrastructure environments
