Position 

 

TŪRANGA    THE ROLE 

We are seeking a warm, welcoming, and people focused Concierge to be the friendly first point of contact in our private hospital. 

This is a heartandsoul role in the hospital. You will interact daily with patients, visitors, staff, surgeons, contractors, and professional visitors. Your presence will help set the tone for everyone who walks through our doors. 

As our Concierge, you will play a central role in the smooth day-to-day running of the hospital. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Welcoming and assisting patients, visitors, and staff 
  • Acting as a coordination point for contractors, deliveries, and professional visitors 
  • Managing small amounts of stock and completing light administrative tasks 
  • Providing general assistance and information with warmth and professionalism 

 

This a fulltime position, (40 hours per week) with 8 hr continuous shifts rostered daily between 6:30am and 8:30pm. Part time hours may also be considered for the right applicant. 

 

KO KOE   ABOUT YOU 

You will thrive in this role if you: 

  • Genuinely enjoy meeting people and helping where needed 
  • Are professional, friendly, resourceful, and confident 
  • Remain calm, welcoming, and organised in a busy environment 
  • Are comfortable performing some heavy lifting as required 

You may come from a hospitality, healthcare, or customer facing background, or have experience in a similar role where you regularly greeted and assisted a high volume of people. 

This role would suit someone who values variety, enjoys regular interaction, and takes pride in making others feel supported and cared for.  

It is important that you are available to work across the full time range including the early starts and later finishes.
