What this role is all about
As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to building reliable and scalable data foundations that support business reporting, analytics, and decision-making across the company. You will work across modern data platforms, integrations, and transformation processes, partnering with teams globally to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and actionable. Our team focuses on turning complex and fragmented datasets into meaningful insights that support operational and strategic initiatives across different business areas. We work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges, improve data quality and visibility, and enable smarter decisions through data. You will join a collaborative environment that values curiosity, ownership, continuous learning, and practical problem-solving.
What you’ll do
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines that collect and process data from internal systems, APIs, and external platforms into the central data ecosystem
Partner with BI Developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable datasets and support reporting and analytics initiatives
Translate business and technical requirements into sustainable data models and transformation logic
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL workflows to ensure stable and efficient data processing
Use SQL and Python to prepare, validate, and transform structured and unstructured datasets
Contribute to multiple data projects simultaneously, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
Maintain clear technical documentation related to data flows, transformations, and governance standards
Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and products through AI-driven capabilities and automation
Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and streamline repetitive engineering tasks
What makes you a strong fit
3-8 years of experience working in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data warehousing environments
Strong practical knowledge of SQL and Python for data transformation, processing, and analysis
Experience working with data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and data lifecycle management
Hands-on experience integrating and consolidating data from multiple systems and third-party platforms
Familiarity with ETL technologies and data integration solutions
Understanding of cloud-based data architectures, with exposure to Microsoft Azure considered an advantage
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially when working with large or inconsistent datasets
Comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver practical solutions
Ability to balance independent ownership with collaborative teamwork across multiple parallel initiatives
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Nice-to-have qualifications
Experience working with distributed data processing technologies such as Spark, Hive, or Kafka
Familiarity with data governance practices, data quality management, or agile delivery methodologies
Exposure to business intelligence tools, reporting workflows, or dashboard development
Interest or experience in AI-enabled analytics, machine learning workflows, or intelligent data platform capabilities
