TLDR

Own PB-scale autonomous vehicle data, align annotation workflows, and build pipelines for mass-production validation.

Mobileye China R&D Center is looking for a motivated Data Engineer with a strong development focus to support Autonomous Vehicle (AV) data workflows and validation for cutting-edge autonomous driving technologies. This role is far more than routine data operations: you will own end-to-end AV data management, conduct scenario analysis, align cross-team data annotation workflows, and build automation scripts and data pipelines to scale AV data processing. Partnering closely with global teams and internal stakeholders, you will continuously lift data quality and annotation efficiency, drive closed-loop troubleshooting, and directly contribute to high-quality, production-ready AV products.

What will your job look like?

  • Own the full lifecycle of AV data, including data status assessment, maintenance and version iteration. You will manage PB-scale driving data assets that power Mobileye's autonomous driving system.
  • Oversee end-to-end annotation workflow, covering requirement definition, guideline formulation and quality assurance. Collaborate with algorithm teams to define dataset specifications, with your work directly shaping dataset quality and accelerating model iteration.
  • Analyze autonomous driving scenarios from a data perspective, investigate system failure cases and push issues to resolution.
  • Propose and initiate new driving data collection campaigns to enrich datasets with rare corner cases, strengthening the core data assets for our global ADAS product portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and data processing pipelines. Reduce manual repetitive work and scale up data throughput for mass-production validation.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to align and unify data standards.

    • All you need is:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE, CS, automotive engineering, geoinformatics, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in software development, testing, or validation engineering, preferably in automotive, ADAS, or adjacent domains.
  • Script development experience (e.g., Python) for testing and tooling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Good English proficiency for written and spoken communication with global teams.

    • Nice to have:

  • Experience in data management, AV validation, or quality analysis.
  • Familiarity with driving data, sensor data, or annotation workflows.
