DevOps Engineer
TLDR
Maintain and scale enterprise-scale infrastructure with automation, disaster recovery, and 24x7 on-call support for large Linux environments.
Responsibilities:
- Support and deploy engineering/production environment.
- Interacting with the Engineering for supporting/maintaining/designing backend infrastructure.
- Improving and automating our deployment and release processes.
- Systems Administration (Red Hat/CentOS).
- Disaster recovery design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Troubleshooting and resolution of server/network issues.
- Proactive monitoring of server systems.
- Writing of tools, scripts, etc., as necessary.
- On-call as needed with participation in 24X7 support.
- Planning, oversight, and participation in implementing new technologies to support business requirements and enhance productivity.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in large scale environment.
- Expert with Linux system internals.
- Expert with L2/L3 networking stacks(Cisco, Arista, Cumulus, Palo Alto Network, Juniper).
- Must have experience building Data Center.
- Have experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible.
- Have experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Shell Scripting.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for new technologies.
- VMware experience is a PLUS.
- Able to lift 30-50LBS.
