DevOps Engineer

Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Kubernetes environments across cloud platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Ansible.
- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery processes.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve operational issues.
- Support and maintain critical infrastructure components, including PostgreSQL databases and Kafka environments.
- Automate operational tasks, workflows, and infrastructure processes using scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents across cloud, containerized, and distributed environments.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to improve deployment strategies, platform reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to infrastructure security, scalability, and best practices across all environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide production support when required.
- 3–6 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Infrastructure, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Solid knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Advanced understanding of Docker and containerization technologies.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Ansible.
- Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation workflows.
- Strong scripting skills using Python and Bash for automation and operational tasks.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools, including Prometheus, OpenSearch, ELK Stack, or similar solutions.
- Good understanding of PostgreSQL database administration and Kafka operations.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities in complex production environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-moving remote environment.
