DevOps Engineer (with Kotlin Expertise)

Zimperium is currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to partner with our Research team to support "download and decrypt" services.
About the Position -- Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support cloud and locally hosted solutions that facilitate ease of service deployment, availability, and operations
- Continuously improve processes and infrastructure to be easy to deploy, scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant
- Automate operational, testing, installation, and other processes to increase efficiency and stability
- Work collaboratively service development team to resolve complex operational issues and deliver value
- Provide documentation on how to resolve issues in complex systems
- Build CI/CD solutions to improve developer productivity and rapid deployments
- Support and extend existing service software written in Kotlin
- Collaborate with the team to establish DevOps best practices
- Minimum 3-5 years of DevOps experience
- Strong expertise in Kotlin programming language
- Can effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Experience with building automation/dependency management tools like Maven and Gradle
- Experience with infrastructure management and deployment
- Experience with container technologies like Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Linux and MacOS operating system management
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, DynamoDB
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI and similar
- Ability to use current industry trends and best practices to construct solutions
- Knowledge of monitoring solutions, like Prometheus, NewRelic
- Familiarity with git version control system
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Familiarity with cloud data center providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle, etc
- Experience with Apple ecosystems: iOS, MacOS
- Scripting experience such as Python or Shell/Bash
