Economic Impact Analyst

TLDR

Build reproducible models and translate industry, employment, fiscal, and regional effects into policy-ready reports.

AlphaGov (Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov) delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.

We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. We build ready teams for live pursuits — not speculative staffing banks.

This opportunity is contingent upon contract award and final staffing approval. Permission will be requested before including a candidate's name or resume in a proposal.

  • Analyze direct, indirect, and induced effects including output, employment, wages, tax, and industry impacts
  • Synthesize administrative, industry, labor, and market data into clear reports, exhibits, and presentations
  • Contribute economic-impact qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned

Requirements

Required:

  • Hands-on economic-impact assessment, regional economics, I-O modeling, fiscal analysis, or related applied-economics experience
  • Ability to produce reproducible methods, defensible assumptions, clear limitations, and policy-ready reports
  • Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites

Nice to have:
