Full-Stack Engineer
TLDR
Own end-to-end AI systems, build pipelines for large-scale unstructured data, and ship sales automation software with Next.js, Python, and ML/NLP technologies.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, high-ownership engineering role at an early-stage AI startup building sales automation software for distributors and manufacturers. You'll work across the full stack to design and ship AI-powered systems that are core to the product, collaborating closely with a small, product-focused engineering team where your contributions have direct business impact.
What You'll Do
Own the architecture and design of AI systems end-to-end.
Collaborate with fellow engineers across the full stack to deliver complex features.
Build data pipelines to process large-scale unstructured data efficiently.
Deploy and manage software in cloud environments.
Make the backend scalable, stable, and performant.
Develop reusable components and well-structured API layers.
Write clean, maintainable code backed by sensible testing strategies.
What We're Looking For
Proficiency building end-to-end AI-powered web applications with Next.js/React (frontend) and Python (backend).
Strong experience with TypeScript in frontend development.
Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
Experience designing and implementing scalable RESTful APIs for production web applications.
Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines for large-scale unstructured data.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern CI/CD practices.
Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.
Experience with ML/NLP technologies including embeddings, vector databases, and RLHF, with production deployment experience.
Experience with ML model serving and inference pipelines in production environments.
A product-minded mindset with a track record of shipping complex web applications.
Ability to own architecture and design decisions with clear documentation and high code quality standards.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: €80,000 – €130,000 per year. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location
On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Remote work is not available for this position.
