Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical switching, isolation, and testing in accordance with licensing requirements and safety standards.
- Conduct round checks at all incoming substations (CLS) Campus wide.
- Lead all MV generator routine test run as per Preventive Maintenance plan.
- Support and assist with critical troubleshooting work and fault diagnostic on all electrical equipment Campus wide.
- Lead and support emergency response during incidents. Support and accompany DC Ops/ contractors to enter MV Power Module.
- Work closely with engineers and advise with MOP & SOP development for electrical system.
- Ensure their Chargeman certification is valid and registered with Energy Commission under DayOne.
Candidate Requirements
- At least a valid B0-11kV Chargeman certificate.
- 3+ years hands-on experience in in electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of UPS, switchgear, grounding systems, generators, and other electrical infrastructure
- Ability to supervise and guide technicians.
- Good understanding of workplace safety and LOTO practices. Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.
- Willing to work on a 12 hour shift.
