ABOUT THE POSITION
IT Infrastructure Engineer at BURGA is more than just a title - it’s a front-row seat to the evolution of a brand that’s taking the world by storm. You'll be at the heart of an extremely versatile and fast-paced environment, where new collections, campaigns, and product launches will keep you sharp and excited.
Your Role: build, operate, improve, and secure a reliable infrastructure platform that can keep up with BURGA’s growth. You’ll work closely with our IT, Data, and MES teams, taking ownership of complex infrastructure challenges and driving projects that will shape our technical environment in 2026 and beyond.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
-Ensure stable and resilient hybrid IT infrastructure operation
-Own and operate our Proxmox virtualization cluster, including VM provisioning, patching, capacity planning, storage, and backups.
-Administer and enhance our production Kubernetes platform supporting critical systems including Manufacturing execution system (MES) and Data Platform workloads
-Lead the monitoring and observability stack across virtualization cluster and Kubernetes
-Own disaster-recovery plans and processes and test them on a regular basis.
-Together with IT operations team act as escalation point for infrastructure incidents, driving root-cause analysis, postmortems and runbook documentation.
-Partner with the Data analysis and Development teams on capacity planning, network architecture, and infrastructure requirements.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
-Solid hands-on Linux administration experience in business-critical environment. Experience with Talos Linux is a strong plus.
-Production experience administering and troubleshooting Kubernetes.
-Hands-on experience with Proxmox, VMware, or a similar virtualization platform, including VM lifecycle management and SAN/ZFS/NFS-backed storage.
-Practical knowledge of enterprise networking, including VLANs, routing, TLS termination, ingress, and reverse proxies.
-Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI or similar.
-Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to improving reliability and security.
SALARY: 4600 - 5000 EUR/Month GROSS. We’re open to discussing it based on your skills and competencies.
