Italian Language Teacher (Online, Freelance)

Are you a native Italian speaker who loves sharing your language and culture? Mondosol is looking for an enthusiastic Italian Language Teacher to join our global community of educators. This is a fully remote, freelance role — you set your own hours and teach from anywhere in the world. What You Will Do:

• Deliver engaging one-on-one and small group Italian lessons via Google Meet
• Design personalized lesson plans based on each student’s level, goals, and learning style
• Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
• Provide constructive, encouraging feedback to help students grow with confidence
• Track each student’s progress and adapt your teaching approach accordingly
• Contribute to a warm, inclusive online learning community
• Share Italian culture and traditions as part of the learning experience

Must Have:

• Native or near-native Italian speaker (C1/C2 level or higher)
• Strong communication skills and genuine patience with learners
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace
• Computer, webcam, and microphone in good working order
• Ability to teach via Google Meet

Nice to Have:

• Experience teaching Italian as a foreign language (formal or informal)
• Teaching certification (DITALS, CEDILS, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with communicative or immersive language teaching methods
• Experience working with students across different time zones
