Junior Testing Engineer - Programmer I Networking Solutions

We are looking for a Junior Testing Engineer - Programmer to strengthen our ambitious testing team in Vilnius, Lithuania, as we work to become a global leader in developing and manufacturing unique IoT solutions that help people.

Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:

• Contribute to automated test suites across WebUI, API, and hardware-integrated systems.
• Monitor and review automated test runs (smoke, regression, nightly pipelines) to support product quality.
• Investigate test failures and help fix unstable or outdated test cases with guidance from the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify, reproduce, and document software and hardware defects.
• Write clear defect reports, including reproduction steps and test evidence.
• Document automation changes, test coverage, and results.
• Contribute to test strategy discussions, sharing ideas on automation improvements and tooling as you grow into the role.

What we expect of you:

• Around 1 year of hands-on experience with Python.
• Familiar with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, or similar).
• Understanding of software testing fundamentals (manual or automated).
• Comfortable working with Git and version control practices.
• Solid problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English (B2 or higher).

Nice to have:

• Computer networking knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with frontend and/or backend testing.
• Experience writing test plans or test cases.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or Agile team environments.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 15 Eur/h up to 21 Eur/h (~2505 Eur—3507 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
