Manual QA (Junior)

TLDR

Test mobile games on iOS and Android, investigate bugs with debugging tools, and collaborate with Developers and Producers on stable updates.

As a Junior Manual QA, your main challenge will be to help ensure the quality of our mobile games by identifying, documenting, and investigating issues throughout the development process.

You will work closely with Developers, Producers, and QA teams, gradually building your expertise in game testing and development processes.

What it means on a daily basis

  • Execute test cases and perform manual testing of mobile games on iOS and Android devices;
  • Identify, reproduce, document, prioritize, and track bugs;
  • Verify developer fixes and make sure reported issues have been properly resolved;
  • Work directly with Developers and Producers to investigate and reproduce issues;
  • Collaborate with internal development and remote testing teams;
  • Use debugging and profiling tools to investigate more complex problems;
  • Play and analyze competitive games to help maintain a high quality standard.

What success will look like

You consistently identify and clearly document issues, understand their impact on the player experience, and effectively collaborate with the development team to help deliver stable and high-quality game updates.

You will work closely with QA specialists, Developers, and Producers, as well as collaborate with remote testing teams across different locations.

Where this role can take you

This role will give you an opportunity to deepen your knowledge of game development and QA processes, work on global mobile titles, and grow toward more advanced QA responsibilities, including the possibility of developing your skills in test automation.

What you need to succeed

  • At least 6 months of experience in Manual QA;
  • Understanding of QA fundamentals and the game development process;
  • Experience testing iOS and Android applications;
  • Good knowledge of mobile and tablet navigation;
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management systems such as Jira, TestRail, Mantis, DevTrack, or similar;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • English level Intermediate or higher.

  • You are eager to learn and develop your QA skills;
  • Interest in automation testing and basic knowledge of a scripting language would be a plus.
