Job Description

Join Teledyne Storm Microwave and design cutting-edge RF solutions! We’re a leading manufacturer of high-performance microwave cable assemblies, and we’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Woodridge, IL. If you’re passionate about precision engineering and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is for you.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop 50-ohm microwave harnesses and related components.

  • Design and develop fiber/power/signal harnesses and related components.

  • Create and review technical drawings and customer specifications.

  • Perform calculations, testing, and data analysis to ensure product reliability.

  • Maintain bills of materials and routings in the system.

  • Develop assembly instructions and design test fixtures.

  • Communicate technical requirements with customers, sales, and internal teams.

  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for engineering projects.

What you need

  • Engineering degree (ME or EE) from a 4-year program (required)

  • 5+ years of experience with microwave or RF products or fiber/power/signal harnesses and components (required)

  • Proficiency with Excel and Word (required)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)

  • Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required)

  • Experience with 50-ohm coax cables and connectors (preferred)

  • Experience creating 3D models of components and assemblies in CAD (preferred)

Salary Range:

$82,600.00-$110,100.000
