Mid-Level Fullstack Engineer (React / TypeScript / Python)

Mid-level role focused on building modern React/TypeScript web apps within a cloud-native stack, collaborating across the stack to design, deploy, and scale production systems.

The Role

We’re looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join a team building and scaling a modern, enterprise-grade GenAI platform.

This is a frontend-leaning full-stack role, with a strong focus on React and TypeScript. You’ll spend most of your time building high-quality user experiences, while also contributing across the stack, particularly in Python and working closely with cloud infrastructure to ensure systems are scalable, observable, and production-ready.

You’ll be part of a team embedding AI capabilities into real-world workflows focusing on performance, usability, and reliability at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build modern, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript

  • Design clean, scalable UI architectures and reusable component systems

  • Contribute to backend services, primarily in Python (with Node.js where needed)

  • Integrate with REST and/or GraphQL APIs

  • Work closely with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) to design and operate scalable systems

  • Deploy and manage applications in containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and delivery workflows

  • Implement observability practices (logging, monitoring, tracing)

  • Apply secure coding practices and support data protection requirements

  • Troubleshoot issues across application and cloud infrastructure layers

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver production-ready systems

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience with React and TypeScript (core focus)

  • Solid experience with Python for backend development

  • Experience building production-grade web applications across the stack

  • Strong understanding of frontend performance, state management, and component-driven design

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)

  • Experience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs

  • Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes beneficial)

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines

  • Understanding of observability concepts (logging, monitoring, tracing)

  • Strong foundation in software engineering principles and system design

  • Awareness of secure coding practices and data protection considerations

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Node.js

  • Experience running applications on Kubernetes in production

  • Familiarity with observability tooling (e.g. Datadog, Prometheus, New Relic)

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code

  • Exposure to distributed or event-driven architectures

  • Experience working in client-facing or consulting environments

  • Familiarity with security-conscious or regulated environments
