Network Intern
TLDR
Maintain network infrastructure, troubleshoot routers and switches, and develop documentation and SOPs for failover and link procedures.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure and connectivity.
- Support configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and network devices under supervision.
- Prepare and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, IP planning sheets, and asset records.
- Develop and update SOPs for basic network operations such as failover and link up/down procedures.
- Assist with network implementation, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the Network team to ensure smooth and secure network operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Networking Fundamentals, OSI & TCP/IP models, and IP Addressing & Subnetting.
- Understanding of Routing (Static, Default Routes) and Switching concepts (MAC Table, VLANs, Trunking).
- Familiarity with ARP, ICMP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio/draw.io, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
