Office Coordinator

About the Role
QuantHub is looking for a part-time office coordinator to help keep our Birmingham office running smoothly. This is a light, flexible role- a great fit for someone looking for a small, reliable weekly commitment- around 3-5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Sort and route incoming mail and packages
- Water and maintain office plants
- Run periodic grocery store trips to keep the kitchen stocked with snacks and drinks, collecting employee requests ahead of time
- Coordinate with our janitorial vendor to confirm cleaning standards are being met
- Keep the supply closet organized and stocked
- Handle occasional light exterior touch-ups
- Pick up meals for team meetups when employees are on-site
- Assemble and ship occasional employee swag boxes
- Make periodic post office runs
- Report and follow up on minor maintenance issues (burnt-out lightbulbs, a broken chair, thermostat acting up) with the building or landlord
- Keep an eye on general office tidiness - common areas, conference rooms after meetings
- Light exterior upkeep- sweeping the entrance, checking the parking lot for issues
- Set up and break down conference rooms for larger meetings or events (chairs, tables, AV basics)
- Be the on-site point of contact for deliveries and visitors when everyone else is in meetings
Requirements
Qualifications
- Based locally in the Birmingham area with reliable transportation
- Comfortable running independent errands and managing small purchases/receipts
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy with light purchasing responsibilities
- Friendly and comfortable being on-site a few times a week
Nice to Have
Prior experience in office administration, hospitality, or a similar support role.
