We are seeking a Process Integration and Yield Technician to support process optimization, defect reduction, yield improvement, and product reliability initiatives within our manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in identifying process issues, analyzing failures, conducting technical investigations, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve manufacturing performance and product quality.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about solving complex technical problems in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical, electrical, and technical analysis to identify defects contributing to yield loss, performance degradation, or reliability concerns.
- Conduct failure analysis on semiconductor products and components to determine root causes of electrical or physical failures.
- Perform electrical validation, fault isolation, and defect characterization on devices that fail manufacturing or reliability testing.
- Utilize analytical tools and techniques, including Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), to image, inspect, and characterize defects.
- Prepare and process samples for laboratory analysis and generate detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Document, analyze, and communicate technical results to engineers, technicians, operators, and management teams.
- Execute engineering experiments, process evaluations, and test runs to support process integration and yield improvement initiatives.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret inline defect, parametric, reliability, and end-of-line manufacturing data.
- Create and maintain records, charts, graphs, and reports to identify trends, abnormalities, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support material disposition activities through database reporting, statistical analysis, and defect assessment.
- Recommend process, equipment, or operational improvements to enhance product quality, yield, reliability, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Set up, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical and laboratory equipment.
- Partner with process integration, manufacturing, quality, reliability, and engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, specifications, and quality procedures.
- Demonstrate strong quality ownership by supporting Stop the Job (STJ) activities and driving rapid resolution of quality concerns.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentoring to peers to strengthen overall team capability and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or another STEM-related field and 4+ years of hands-on laboratory or manufacturing experience in a semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, engineering, or related technical environment. OR Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or another STEM-related field and 2+ years of hands-on laboratory or manufacturing experience in a semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, engineering, or related technical environment.
- Candidate must be willing to:
- Standing and walking for up to 80% of the workday.
- Perform precision manual activities, including soldering small devices/components and conducting fine polishing tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing facility or lab facility.
- 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: acoustic imaging, x-rays inspection, electron spectroscopy and imaging (SEM/TEM/EDX), and sample prep techniques is highly desired.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $60,450.00-85,340.00 USD (Hourly Role)The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
