The Technology team builds end-to-end products and solutions that power our marketplace, delivering an incredible experience for customers globally. From understanding customer and partner needs to designing and testing innovative hypotheses, we create industry-leading experiences for luxury customers everywhere.

PORTO

Our office is near Porto, in the north of Portugal, and is located in a vibrant business hub. It offers a dynamic and welcoming environment where our employees can connect and network with a large community of tech professionals. 

THE ROLE

You'll be instrumental in delivering product catalogue management capabilities that will allow our partners to brilliantly manage their growing curated catalogues with reduced time to market. It's an exciting moment at Farfetch where our extensive catalogue is a key success factor and will continue to evolve to deliver even more self-service, automation and resilient capabilities to our stakeholders and support our business growth.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Passionate about developing customer centric products
  • Able to think globally/strategically, frame new and complex problems and break them into smaller ones
  • Capable of structuring information and have great attention to detail to define clear requirements
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective product roadmaps
  • Experience in adopting a test and learn approach to building products to inform product direction.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams during the entire lifecycle of product development for complex products
  • A professional with excellent communication skills written and verbal; English is mandatory
  • A team player and a professional with strong negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment handling multiple product evolution happening at once
  • Experience working on ecommerce marketplaces, product catalogue management or merchandise management is highly desirable
  • Knowledgeable of the scrum methodology is a plus
  • Knowhow in Merchandise management highly desired
  • WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Champion to the needs of customers throughout the development process by designing scalable and robust products;
  • Analyzes competitors and market trends; develops detailed requirements, feature definitions, implementation plans, and internal communications.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams during the entire lifecycle of product development - pre impact analysis, deployment and post-deployment activities.
  • Work with engineering teams in order to deliver value to the company via agile product development flows and deliverables.
  • With complete independence, be able to design solutions, deconstruct complex problems into more manageable blocks and support delivering them as part of an agile project framework
