Regional Editor (India)

About the Position

At Fanatee, the Content Team is the heart and soul of our products. As a Regional Editor for CodyCross, our successful crossword game, your work will impact the experience of millions of English-speaking users in India.

CodyCross is a game loved by millions of players worldwide, and is available in more than 10 languages. We are looking for a talented person with an excellent handle of the English language to help us continue shaping CodyCross content for the India market. You will be working closely with our product and content teams and will be a key partner throughout the entire product lifecycle, from prototyping and testing new features to content production.

The role is a freelancer position, which allows you to work remotely, and we are looking for someone who can dedicate 3 to 6 hours/day to this role.

Qualifications

• Major in language or communications-related fields (Linguistics, Communications, Journalism)
• Speak fluent English
• Experience in content creation and localization for the India market
• Proven experience in content localization or translation
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Enthusiasm or previous experience with word games is a big plus

Requirements

We are looking for a user-oriented and analytical person who delivers high-quality work on time. You must be able to work, follow deadlines and report your status independently and remotely. You must be a team player and coordinate with other Content Editors on the regional adaptations needed to adjust the game content to suit players in India. You must be able to organize and run your own work schedule to deliver against the deadlines agreed upon.
