DeleteMe is led by a passionate and experienced team and driven by a powerful mission to empower consumers with privacy.  Job Summary:   We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to maintain and improve our overall security posture. You will own our endpoint security and SIEM platforms, manage AWS, GCP cloud security services, assist with internal IT triaging, and drive critical security compliance initiatives. Responsibilities:
  • Administer, optimize, and act as the subject matter expert for CrowdStrike (Falcon and LogScale).

  • Manage SIEM integrations, alerting configurations, and security metrics for our SOC operations.

  • Provide on-site IT support by triaging hardware and access management issues.

  • Manage security services on AWS and GCP with an ability to understand basic Terraform code.

  • Maintain security controls to ensure ongoing compliance (SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001:2022).

  • Manage projects related to risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response planning.

  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are seamlessly integrated into business processes and products.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Security / IT / Engineering roles.

  • Expert competence with CrowdStrike solutions and modern SIEM platforms.

  • Comfortable with the use of Jira, Slack, PagerDuty automation tools.

  • Strong foundational IT skills with a proven ability to triage and resolve technical issues.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP security services.

  • Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, CIS).

  • Familiarity with SSO, SCIM concepts  (Okta preferred).

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).

  • Strong project management, communication, documentation and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to thrive and pivot efforts in a fast-paced, unstructured global startup environment with the agility to learn new skills.

  • Strong ownership of work, demonstrating strategic foresight to understand long-term impact of short-term actions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience); certifications like CISSP are a plus.
