TLDR

Own complex, multi-step repair flows across web and mobile, from AI-native intake to partner dashboards and SLA management.

About Fixico

Fixico is a leading European technology platform transforming the way fleets manage vehicle repair and maintenance.

Through Fixico One, we bring repair and maintenance together in one connected platform and marketplace, giving fleet operators greater control over costs, lead times and quality. Today, more than 250 businesses use Fixico, supported by a network of 15,000+ repair partners across Europe.

Our customers include leading organisations across fleet, leasing, rental, insurance and the wider automotive and mobility industry.

Germany is one of Fixico’s most important European markets. We have built a significant presence, with established customers and partnerships, a strong repair network and a local commercial team. At the same time, we see substantial opportunities to grow our position further.

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape what's next.

The role

You'll work at the intersection of design and engineering. You own complex, end-to-end product flows across our repairer-facing and customer-facing surfaces. You collaborate closely with frontend engineers to bring designs into production. You think in systems, work confidently in Figma, and understand enough about how the web works to keep your designs buildable.

You'll be the dedicated designer within one of our product teams. You own the experience for that team's domain and contribute to the shared design system that keeps our products consistent. You work closely with the product trio — product manager, engineering lead, and you — to set direction together. You translate company strategy into clear design opportunities and help raise the bar for how we build products at Fixico.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end design for your team's domain, from early concept to engineering handoff, with a strong focus on interaction design and technical feasibility

  • Partner closely with frontend engineers: think in components, design with implementation in mind, and stay involved through the build

  • Design complex, multi-step flows: AI-native repair intake, partner dashboards, repair tracking, and SLA management across web and mobile

  • Build and maintain scalable components in our design system (Figma and Token Studio, mapped to an MUI-based component library), so design and code stay in sync

  • Turn company strategy into concrete design opportunities and solutions

  • Run regular user testing and turn the insights into better work

  • Facilitate workshops with product, design, and engineering to drive alignment and momentum

  • Define and track outcome-based design metrics (such as usability scores and SUS) to measure real impact

  • Mentor other designers and help grow a strong, collaborative design culture

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in a SaaS, marketplace, or platform scale-up, with a good grasp of how business culture and processes shape the work

  • A strong systems thinker who stays pragmatic: you structure complexity, design for scale, make smart trade-offs, and ship rather than chase perfect

  • Hands-on experience with design systems and component-based design, fluent in Figma and component libraries

  • Strong interaction and UX skills: you design with logic and intent, not just aesthetics

  • A technical mindset: you understand frontend concepts (HTML, CSS, component architecture) and design accordingly

  • You use AI in your design process for rapid mockups, exploration, and speeding up the day-to-day

  • Comfortable in agile product teams, owning a domain end-to-end, and a clear communicator who can explain decisions and push back when it matters

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with design tokens (such as Token Studio) and component libraries like MUI

  • Comfort reading frontend code, even at a basic level

  • Experience with Jira and Miro

  • Background in usability testing and research methodologies

Why Fixico

Fixico is at an exciting stage of its growth, and design plays a bigger part in that than ever. We are a fast-growing car damage repair platform, trusted by leasing companies, fleet and rental operators and insurers to manage repairs at scale, from global brands to local players. As we keep building what Fixico One can do, the experience we design around it matters more with every release.

This is not a role designing on the sidelines. You will own end-to-end design for your team's domain, sit inside a product trio that sets its own direction, and take on genuinely complex problems: AI-native repair intake, partner dashboards, SLA management across web and mobile. You will also help build the design system that keeps it all consistent as we scale.

It is a good moment to join: the problems are real and unsolved, the team is small enough that your decisions carry weight, and the design system is still being built and continuously improved.

Fixico is transforming the automotive repair ecosystem with a smart, scalable cloud-native platform that connects fleet owners, rental companies, and insurance providers to a network of over 3,500 repair shops across Europe. Our marketplace streamlines the car damage repair process, making it efficient for both large brands and local players.
