Senior Software Developer Front-End (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Cross-Cutting Team. Unlike a traditional product team focused on a single feature set, your mission is to empower every frontend developer across the organization.

You will help build and maintain our shared ecosystem, ensuring that our micro-frontend architecture is seamless, scalable, and highly performant. If you enjoy building tools that make other developers’ lives easier and have a passion for architectural consistency, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Development of frontend libraries (Typescript / React)
• Development of frontend applications (Typescript / React)
• Develop thoughtful and maintainable code
• Proactively shape and improve our development practices to continually enhance our developer experience
• Promptly communicate with all stakeholders

• Support all frontend teams
• Become a mentor to junior/mid members of the team

• Experience with Micro Front End architecture within the e-commerce space
• Experience with Typescript (min 2 yrs)
• Experience with Server Side Rendered React code
• Experience with Frontend frameworks (React/Next.js/Remix) (min 5 yrs)
• Experience with Javascript (min 5 yrs)
• Experience with code versioning (Git) and CI/CD technologies. We perform extensive code reviews.
• Experience with developing, deploying, and maintaining production-grade software systems.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, high degree of personal responsibility and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Having an eye for code quality, problem solving, testing.
• Experience with Unit Testing
• Ability to quickly prototype ideas / solutions and use creative approaches for solving complex problems
• Proficiency in English (internal communication is in English)
• Experience in internationalisation websites (multi language)
• Experience with RestFul API, client and server side
• Understanding of S.O.L.I.D principle and dependency injections
• Experience with state management on a client and server side level
• Experience with performance optimisation for front-end applications
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools structures such as Jira/Confluence

Nice to have:

• Some experience with GitLab platform
• Some experience in writing CD/CI pipeline process in GitLab
• Some experience with containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker)
• Experience in Node.js and Express
• Experience with GraphQL
