Senior Solutions Engineer - CJIS
TLDR
Lead pre-sales discovery, demos, and PoC evaluations for CJIS-focused solutions, translating technical capabilities into business value and guiding revenue-driving engagements.
- Lead pre-sales discovery sessions with customers to identify technical requirements, workflows, and business needs, ensuring solutions are aligned with operational objectives.
- Design, present, and demonstrate tailored technical solutions, including customized demos and PoC environments that validate product value.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business outcomes for both executive and technical stakeholders.
- Develop and support proposals, solution estimates, and statements of work for professional and managed services engagements.
- Manage and execute PoC evaluations from planning through completion, ensuring defined success criteria are met.
- Collaborate with sales teams and channel partners to support territory goals and drive revenue growth.
- Contribute to RFI/RFP responses, security questionnaires, and technical documentation as needed.
- Provide post-sale transition support to ensure smooth handoff to delivery and services teams.
- Maintain deep product knowledge and stay current on competitive and industry trends.
- 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, consulting, or systems integration within healthcare IT or similar enterprise environments.
- Strong technical background with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience delivering technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Strong ability to engage with both technical teams and C-level stakeholders, translating complex solutions into business value.
- Experience working with identity management, enterprise security, SaaS, or infrastructure technologies.
- Familiarity with directory services, networking protocols, virtualization, and cloud environments such as Azure or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of CJIS Security Policy, public safety environments, or law enforcement technology is highly preferred.
- Ability to scope, estimate, and support professional services engagements.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-moving, customer-facing role with up to 50% travel.
