Software Developer - Automotive
TLDR
Maintain and improve deployment of core software, coordinating across Tech, Art and QA to support luxury automotive partners with Unreal Engine expertise.
REALTIME is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to take responsibility for maintaining and improving the deployment of our technology core.
This role will involve a high level of cross-department communication, with the successful candidate acting as a conduit between several areas, so it is essential that candidates have strong communication skills and enjoy interacting with others to solve complex problems.
This role is based at our Westby studio, currently we are all working from home as per government guidelines. It is possible that this could continue once normality resumes, but expectation is to be working on site.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the release and stability of the core software
- Work closely with the Tech, Art and QA teams.
- Understand dependencies between software releases and feature dependencies
- Develop software and processes to streamline releases and stabilise deployments
- Work as part of a development team across products for our luxury automotive partners.
MUST HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Commercial experience with developing software.
- A skilled communicator who has experience collaborating with multiple teams of different disciplines.
- Knowledge with profiling, debugging, and diagnosing issues within large production software stacks.
- Understanding of various techniques, and APIs.
- Significant programming experience with C# C++ and Python required.
- Experience within the Unreal Engine
