Software Engineer
TLDR
Contribute to building Elm/Hasura-based web apps powering 1:1 workplace connectivity, take ownership of features, mentor teammates, and shape product architecture in a fast-growing startup.
This role is with Hobnob, a startup supported by SGInnovate.
Hobnob is a well-funded early-stage start-up, our mission is to “Build a social culture in workplace communities with meaningful 1:1 conversations”. Enterprises use Hobnob to engineer introductions and genuine 1:1 conversations at scale to drive superior outcomes around innovation, talent retention, employee on-boarding, engagement, inclusion and well-being. Hobnob's products power 1:1 connectivity across the entire company, communities, divisions, regions and everything in between. We also help companies with more 1:1 and small group targeted connectivity when it comes to new hire on-boarding, hi-potential employee programs, knowledge sharing, open office hours, and much more.
We are headquartered in Singapore, but are a global team, and looking to add to our founding engineering team (currently a team of six).
We are looking for passionate full stack developers – individuals that have experience developing web applications and a passion for building products with strong user experiences.
Duties & Resonsibilities:
Familiarity with our technology stack is not a must, but a solid attitude, ability & willingness to learn them is useful - half of our engineering team had not worked with any functional programming languages before joining us but we have an environment where we help capable individuals get up to speed quickly.
