Solutions Engineer
TLDR
Act as a technical advisor across pre-sales for secure, cloud-native government solutions, translating requirements into compliant, scalable architectures while engaging senior stakeholders.
- Partner with account executives to support the full pre-sales technical cycle, including discovery, solution design, and customer engagement.
- Lead product demonstrations, technical presentations, architecture discussions, and RFP/RFI responses for enterprise and government customers.
- Evaluate customer environments and assess compatibility with secure cloud-native platform requirements.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert on cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and compliance throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence roadmap priorities.
- Create technical content and collateral to support sales and marketing efforts, including thought leadership materials.
- Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders across customer organizations to establish trust and credibility.
- 3+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or similar.
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure), with certifications preferred.
- 3–5+ years of broader technical experience, ideally including software engineering or technical product roles.
- 1+ years of software development experience, preferably in full-stack or backend environments.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native technologies, DevSecOps practices, and cybersecurity principles.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative, and remote-first environments.
- U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain or hold a security clearance is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
