Position Overview

The Systems Integration Commissioning Manager serves as the Systems Integration representative assigned to an active commissioning and operational readiness site. This role is responsible for coordinating the integration, commissioning, operational readiness, and ingestion activities required to transition a data center from construction completion into stable operations.

Acting as the primary field representative for the Systems Integration organization, the

Systems Integration Commissioning Manager provides day-to-day coordination between Engineering, Construction, Commissioning Agents, Controls & Automation, Enterprise Architecture, Business Operations, AI Infrastructure, Operations, and third-party vendors. The role ensures technical deliverables, Operational Readiness (OR) gate requirements, documentation, integration validation, telemetry readiness, operational procedures, and evidence packages are completed accurately and on schedule.

The Systems Integration Commissioning Manager owns site-level execution of the Systems

Integration program while enabling the Sr. Director of Systems Integration & Operational Readiness to govern the portfolio at an enterprise level. This role transforms portfolio standards into successful execution at each individual campus and serves as the primary escalation point for site-level integration issues that may impact commissioning milestones, operational readiness, or customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the site-level IMS for the assigned commissioning site tracking gate milestones, dependencies, and critical path in Linear/Procore
  • Manage day-to-day coordination with commissioning partners at the assigned site tracking deliverables, resolving coordination issues, escalating to the Sr. Director
  • Run weekly commissioning coordination meetings at the site working level; produce concise status reports
  • Track ingestion-period stability metrics logging anomalies, resolution status, and progress against exit criteria
  • Maintain the action log across all commissioning and ingestion activities assigning owners, tracking follow-through, escalating overdue items
  • Own the site-level IMS for the assigned commissioning site tracking gate milestones, dependencies, and critical path in Linear/Procore
  • Manage day-to-day coordination with commissioning partners at the assigned site tracking deliverables, resolving coordination issues, escalating to the Sr. Director
  • Own the OR-gate evidence collection process for each gate at the assigned site tracking evidence items to closure and preparing the gate package for review
  • Run weekly commissioning coordination meetings at the site working level; produce concise status reports
  • Track ingestion-period stability metrics logging anomalies, resolution status, and progress against exit criteria
  • Maintain the action log across all commissioning and ingestion activities assigning owners, tracking follow-through, escalating overdue items

Qualifications

  • 6–10+ years in project management or commissioning coordination within datacenter, infrastructure, or industrial environments
  • Hands-on experience with IMS and project tracking tools Linear/Procore, Jira, MS Project, or equivalent
  • Sufficient technical understanding of datacenter infrastructure systems to assess commissioning progress and escalate integration risks intelligently
  • Strong organizational and communication skills — able to manage concurrent workstreams at a live commissioning site
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred

  • Leadership has real-time visibility into site-level commissioning status without being the one tracking it
  • OR-gate evidence packages are complete and submitted on schedule no gate delays caused by missing evidence
  • Commissioning-partner deliverables at the assigned site are tracked with no gaps
  • Ingestion-period exit-criteria progress is logged and current

The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.
