Upholstery Finishing Technician
TLDR
Fit tailored slipcovers, inspect cushions, photograph completed furniture units, and package orders while personally signing off on quality.
The Upholstery Finishing Technician is the craft engine of Thuma's in-house upholstery finishing operation. We fit tailored upholstered slipcovers to furniture frames on demand to complete customer orders. This includes fitting slipcovers to the frame, seating cushions to spec, photographing finished units, and packaging them for outbound shipment. It is precise, physical, hands-on work for someone who loves producing high-quality results.
This role will report to the Upholstery Finishing Supervisor and work to a documented SOP, with a completion photo and quality check on every unit. This is an on-site role, Monday through Friday, roughly 8am to 5pm local time.
