Vet Nurse

With our fabulous Head Nurse off on maternity leave, Crofton Downs Vet Clinic are seeking an experienced Vet Nurse to join the team! We have a purpose-built clinic with a super supportive team.

This is a full-time role covering 40 hours per week on a fixed-term contract through till May 2027.

We pride ourselves on our strong customer focus, knowing our clients and their pets. You must be a great communicator who can express empathy but also have a bright and bubbly personality to greet our clients.

This role provides effective support to Veterinarians in all aspects of Veterinary Nursing, including anaesthetic monitoring, animal handling, IV catheter placement and blood collection. We also have a great variety in surgeries, including ortho!

About you:

• Qualified Veterinary Nurse with ideally 4+ years experience

• Confidence to mentor junior Vet Nurses

• Strong time management

• A keen desire to always deliver excellent standards of patient care and customer service

• Solid communication and organisational skills

• A genuine love for animals and their people
