Working Student Payroll (m/f/d)

€15 per hour

TLDR

Maintain SAP data, prepare BigQuery reports, and automate reconciliations while handling confidential data.

  • Contributing to monthly payroll processing in SAP: maintaining data, sanity-checking results, and catching anomalies before they end up on a payslip;
  • Handling correspondence with health insurance providers, authorities, and government offices, and following up to make sure changes are properly reflected in the system;
  • Preparing bulk changes as upload files and checking them against our master data;
  • Creating certificates/documents and handling requests from the payroll inbox, based on existing templates and with the team as a sounding board;
  • Preparing analyses and reports from SAP and BigQuery;
  • Actively improving our processes: spotting recurring requests and duplicate work and tackling them yourself — building a response template, automating a reconciliation, or documenting a process so it works even without you being there. We work with tools including Claude and Google Cloud.
  • Enrolled at a university, ideally in a business- or law-related degree program, with at least 1.5 years of study remaining;
  • Availability of 20 hours per week during term time;
  • Very good German skills (C1 or higher) — correspondence with health insurance providers and authorities is conducted exclusively in German — as well as good English as our team language;
  • A careful and reliable way of working, even with recurring tasks;
  • Confident use of Excel; some initial exposure to SQL or automation tools is a plus, but not required;
  • A responsible approach to handling confidential data.
