Field Marketing Program Manager - West

The Basics:

Tanium is seeking a Marketing Program Manager to partner closely with our field marketing team to deliver activities that build pipeline to support the revenue goals of the business. This person will support the creation, growth, and execution of field marketing programs, including but not limited to regional events, industry tradeshows, and local seminars and workshops. The Program Manager will own vendor and contract management and overall project management for all prospective customer marketing efforts in the East region. A successful Program Manager will work constantly to improve processes and efficiency, leveraging strong budget management experience, superior organizational skills, knowledge of procurement, and exceptional attention to detail.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage logistical components (venue booking, catering, speaker engagements, network providers, scheduling, etc.) of regional field marketing programs -- including tradeshows and events, local seminars and workshops
  • Ensure that programs cross-regionally are executed efficiently, on budget and on time so that current and prospective customers experience a high degree of satisfaction in attending events
  • Partner with finance and legal teams to support the procurement process by managing vendor contracts through Tanium’s internal processes
  • Act as knowledge manager for region, cataloging all presentation content and supporting materials for all field marketing events
  • Leverage corporate and product messaging and content, tailoring to event or program as appropriate. You must be able to create content and understand the key initiatives and messaging that will resonate with our target buyer
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the marketing team to leverage best practices and programs to execute nationally

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Education
    • BA/BS or equivalent industry experience required
  • Experience
    • 5 years in marketing, administration, program management, project management  or similar roles required
    • Proven capability with Salesforce.com/marketing automation platforms required
  • Other
    • Sustained record demonstrating initiative and motivation
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated dependability, team player, positive attitude and good attendance
    • Person of high ethics, integrity, honesty and patience
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
    • Data driven with analytical outlook on role
