Do you believe that creators should have the ability to get paid for the value they give to their fans?
We do, which is why we're building Patreon, a platform that powers membership services for creators with established followings. Patreon strives to provide creators with insight, education, and tools that make it possible to retain creative control while running their creative business, so creators can focus on creating and energizing their fanbases.

Our user base has doubled in the last year alone, and we have paid over $150 million directly to creators on our platform. In order to support this level of growth, Patreon is looking for a Product Marketing Manager.

What you will do:

  • Develop product positioning and compelling assets across a wide range of marketing channels to show that Patreon is the best place for creators to earn the living they deserve
  • Create and execute go-to-market plans to attract new creators and provide value to existing creators
  • Collaborate closely with other marketing and communications team members to ensure that key product messages are heard and that messaging is consistent, accurate, and on-brand
  • Provide ongoing education to our creators about trust & safety policies, highlighting a creator-centric point of view
  • Understand the user journey and the needs creators have at each stage in order to inform marketing efforts
  • Translate traditional B2B techniques for product marketing into something that resonates with creators
  • Stay current with the latest in marketing and industry trends, in order to inform your efforts

Skills and experience you possess:

  • You have 4+ years of product marketing experience
  • You’ve handled multiple aspects of product launches with cross functional stakeholders
  • You’re great at building relationships internally and externally
  • You love to collaborate and will bring a marketing focus to cross-functional teams
  • You know how to translate both qualitative and quantitative creator feedback into valuable insights that will help you be ever-improving product marketing efforts
  • You possess excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • You can readily adapt to changing deadlines, emerging needs, policy changes, and the variety of nuances that can happen in product development
