We are currently looking for a Business Development Lead to join our Boxed Wine & Spirits team.
The Boxed Wine & Spirits team is building an infrastructure of retail partners that can deliver the best brands to the best customers in the country. As a marketing partner to major spirits & wine brands we are helping drive sales to retail partners. As the Business Development Lead, you will be the point of contact for new prospects around the country.
- Find innovative ways to recruit new retailers to partner with Boxed on Wine & Spirits
- Collaborate frequently with other departments (Merchandising, Operations, Finance, etc.)
- Analyze performance and internal data to identify key areas of opportunity to improve results
- Build & maintain industry expertise; analyze competitor offering and follow trends in the market
- Support assortment selection with retailer’s preferences as a key priority
- Be willing to be scrappy and get the job done
- Bachelor’s Degree with a strong academic record
- Flexibility and willingness to pivot quickly when required
- Analyze and determine root causes of problems and implement solutions
- Strong knowledge of Excel – data hound
- Ability to prioritize tasks and time
- SQL knowledge a plus
- E-commerce, retail merchandising, or other relevant experience a plus
