We are currently looking for a Business Development Lead to join our Boxed Wine & Spirits team.
The Boxed Wine & Spirits team is building an infrastructure of retail partners that can deliver the best brands to the best customers in the country. As a marketing partner to major spirits & wine brands we are helping drive sales to retail partners. As the Business Development Lead, you will be the point of contact for new prospects around the country.
Find innovative ways to recruit new retailers to partner with Boxed on Wine & Spirits
Collaborate frequently with other departments (Merchandising, Operations, Finance, etc.)
Analyze performance and internal data to identify key areas of opportunity to improve results
Build & maintain industry expertise; analyze competitor offering and follow trends in the market
Support assortment selection with retailer’s preferences as a key priority
Be willing to be scrappy and get the job done
Bachelor’s Degree with a strong academic record
Flexibility and willingness to pivot quickly when required
Analyze and determine root causes of problems and implement solutions
Strong knowledge of Excel – data hound
Ability to prioritize tasks and time
SQL knowledge a plus
E-commerce, retail merchandising, or other relevant experience a plus
