Creative Operations Manager

The Role:

Reporting to the Director, Branded Operations, this position will be accountable for designing, tracking, managing day-to-day campaign operations for BuzzFeed Media Brands with a main focus on Tasty. You will work on managing branded studio programs, implementing new systems and tools and handling program escalations. This role primarily supports the creative and client services teams involved with Media Brands.

The Team:

You'll be based in the heart of our main hive on the Pacific Coast: our West Hollywood campus. Here you'll oversee our super awesome team of 4, as you report directly to the departmental head. Additionally, you'll help support teams in NYC and various others on-location scattered throughout the world.

You Will:

  • Implement, maintain and continuously develop suitable tools and metrics to support studio pipeline management effectiveness, while aligning with the growing and scaling needs of the team
  • Develop, iterate, and maintain processes, best practices, and other documentation
  • Analyze critical facets of traditional project management to achieve departmental progress while maintaining the BuzzFeed culture
  • Develop a thorough understanding of BuzzFeed video products and offerings
  • Ad hoc analysis and business operations reporting

You Have:

  • 4-7 years experience in project management, consulting or similar field in an agency or content creation environment
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of projects simultaneously with the ability to problem solve and a strong working knowledge of Google Docs, Excel and other Office products
  • Keen interest in developing nimble systems and tools to help manage program execution and studio pipeline management
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working at various levels, especially with both creative and technical partners
  • Excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven studio environment built on success
  • Must love food!
