The hybrid account executive sells LinkedIn’s online learning enterprise solutions to our Higher Education market segment. Reporting to a UK Sales Manager, the hybrid account exec will oversee a dedicated territory of accounts and have a book to hunt to grow that market. The hybrid sales representative is a member of the LinkedIn’s UK sales team. You will be focused on creating new business and selling additional products to existing clients. You would exemplify personal drive, determination, process excellence, and high integrity production.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive additional revenue and renewal opportunities through existing enterprise accounts
  • Create and grow new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan and prioritisation for the territory
  • Deliver reliable forecasts. Be completely transparent with management on pipeline status.
  • Establish the foundation for long lasting mutually beneficial professional relationships
  • Become the client's “trusted advisor” and move the relationship from tactical to strategic
  • Integrate the voice of the client into the core operating business practice at LinkedIn
  • Invest in the team
  • Strengthen LinkedIn. Seek out opportunities to be a leader on the team

 

 Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying role 

 

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in a related field, or evidence of continuous professional development
  • Experience with SaaS sales, sales hunting and Salesforce.com platform
  • Experience selling IT or e-learning solutions
  • Experience carrying a revenue target with the ability to develop compelling strategies that deliver results
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and forecasting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to find and manage high-level business in an evangelistic sales environment
  • Ability to gather and use data to inform decision making and persuade others
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers
  • Ability to orchestrate the closure of business with an accurate understanding of prospect needs
  • Ability to include multiple partners and members of the company management team using competitive selling to position company products against direct and indirect competitors
