Data Integrity Specialist

 The Data Integrity Specialist is responsible for overseeing the internal data for Wayfair photo studios. This role will primarily oversee the sample order process for the traffic team and maintain the data integrity throughout the imagery process.

 Role & Responsibilities:
The Data Integrity Specialist must have a strong background in data management and analysis to assist with product identification from submission through photography sample requests and image retouching to ensure data integrity in our applications. 

This position will be responsible for a wide range of data processing, entry, and quality assurance tasks. The ideal candidate is someone who can take responsibility and ownership of data quality while interacting with multiple teams; has exceptional attention to detail; has intermediate to advanced computer skills; and considers themselves a detective with data, able to spot inconsistencies, track down root causes, and creatively identify solutions.

  •  Act as a liaison between internal producers, photography teams and post production, as well as, external teams to ensure accurate and complete data for sample requests, inventory, product identification, metadata tagging and contracting of various related data tasks.
  • Review, analyze, and perform manual and automated quality checks on data to identify, diagnose, and fix data integrity issues, coordinating with Traffic team, Producers and Post Production.
  • Identify new process improvement and automation opportunities.  Report out on workflow and tracking data updates and progress on potential process/tracking improvements.
Requirements:

  • Experience in data management and maintenance where attention to detail and high degree of accuracy is the standard
  • Strong computer skills with an ability to manipulate & analyze large amounts of data, with a strong proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookup.
  • A Quickbase background is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data issues quickly
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make independent decisions based on investigation and judgment as well as ability to discern when to escalate issues
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work independently under deadlines, collaborating across the team as needed
