Hired is seeking a skilled Operations Coordinator to join the team in our New York office. This job is a balance of excellent communication, proactivity, reliability, and superb customer service. You will help provide ongoing support for our New York office and give a lift to our local team through special projects. Our ideal candidate will be gregarious, confident, and collaborative; a true partner to the Hired team. You can handle stressful situations with ease, you love organizing events, and think with inclusivity in mind. This role will report to our Global Office Operations Manager.



  • Bring a fresh set of eyes to our office, and constantly strive to make improvements
  • Assist with vendor relationships
  • Coordinate the snack, drinks, and lunch programs
  • Coordinate cleaning services and maintaining a safe, clean, organized office
  • Organize and oversee office functions, including but not limited to, our quarterly Hired office volunteer event & office celebrations
  • Communicate office updates and general information
  • Collaborate with People Ops in on-boarding process for new employees and other projects as needed
  • Assist with developing and tracking budgets, as needed
  • Support revenue operations through platform scheduling or other long-term projects
  • Additional projects for local teams as needed, may include marketing mailers, local events, and research



  • 2-5 years experience in office coordination/management or similar
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Event planning experience for groups of varying sizes
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and move around small office furniture if needed



  • Experience with Google Apps
  • Experience in Atlassian & Confluence
  • Experience with photography
  • Previous customer service experience
