Catalog Operations Specialist

The mission of the eCommerce Operations team is to create compelling product listings and great transactional experiences on eCommerce channels. The Catalog Operations Specialist is critical to the success of this mission. The Specialist owns the product content creation for each of their client relationships and is the go-to person for all things content related. Their work is centered on how to improve product content creation to drive sales and create an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage external teams and product information management systems to complete product content
  • Ensure external partners are accountable for their performance, including but not limited to quality, speed, and accuracy
  • Monitor marketplace coverage to take advantage of all remarketing opportunities
  • Find and execute on opportunities to improve product listings and delight our customers
  • Monitor and report on refund rates relating to Product Content issues
  • Act as the subject matter expert for their client portfolio and the requirements of content for marketplace remarketing
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your manager

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience managing product content
  • One year of experience working with external vendors preferred
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Intrinsic motivation to improve processes, elevate their peers
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous eCommerce, retail, or catalog merchandising experience preferred
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with product information management systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Excel
  • Knowledge of Tableau or similar data visualization products preferred
  • Knowledge of MySQL or similar database management systems preferred
