-Do-what-it-takes attitude, resourceful and willing to help out wherever needed
-Team builder; can rally a team, build performance improvement tools, conduct reviews, etc.
-Valid NY State pharmacist license required
-Managed a team of 20 or more team members (ideally a processing operation)
-Five years of management experience in a high volume pharmacy
-Experience in a hospital, specialty or mail order pharmacy
-Deep experience billing insurance, applying coupons, and troubleshooting rejections
About the Role:
As Processing Manager, you will be on the frontlines of delivering best-in-class customer experience by building and managing high performing, highly efficient operations. You will own and run one of the most critical functions in the company and manage a team of 15+ technicians and insurance specialists.
Some of the things you’ll work on:
-You will be responsible for meeting processing SLAs and accuracy/quality targets.
-You will own staffing, schedules, training, performance improvement, and running the day to day operation.
-You will work closely with your team to identify areas for improvement, bottlenecks in the workflow, and implement both quick and longer term wins.
-You will serve as the pharmacist point person for the processing team supporting both clinical training and over the shoulder coaching daily.
-You will work with members across the organization to implement process and product improvements to increase the quality and speed of service to customers and doctors.
-You will develop and build a culture for team of 15+ technicians and insurance specialists to meet company performance and retention targets.
