The Role:

Intersection is looking for an Installer based out of our Long Island City warehouse. As an Installer at Intersection, you will install and remove advertisements on phone booths and LinkNYC wifi kiosks in the New York City metro areas and boroughs. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and you must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. This job is performed 100% outside all year.

This is a full-time, night shift position. The hours 8:00 pm to 4:30 am Saturday-Thursday with occasional overtime required.

What you will accomplish: 

  • Installing and removing advertising banners on light poles in and around the NYC metro areas and boroughs. 
  • Accurately record and report all install/removal information prior to the end of each shift. 
  • Participate in company training, safety meetings and other meetings and events as directed

What we are looking for: 

  • Experience working in maintenance or construction 
  • Experience using power tools 
  • Strong work ethic 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to lift 50 pounds, able to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, bend, or crawl 
  • Work with little supervision 
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license 
  • The employee is required to work out of a bucket truck at least 30 feet high
