Twilio is looking for a Director of Product Management to lead both our Account Security products and a team of product managers. You are a proven thought leader in the security space who also understands that end-user authentication, end-user digital fraud and identity theft, and seamless user experience are all equally important. In short, you understand why securing and making interactions between businesses and end-consumers frictionless is a critical component of dramatically improving overall customer engagement.
A typical day for you (there are no typical days!) involves talking to customers and sales to understand customer pain points and converting that to a winning strategy. You spend parts of your day reviewing the state of the products’ business metrics, scrutinizing and obsessing if we have the right metrics, and deriving the right insights to fuel our next phase of growth. You also spend parts of your day developing and managing your product managers to become better owner-operators of their products. You actively look forward to those days when you need to present to Twilio’s executive team on the state of the business.
The Account Security products by Twilio are used by millions of consumers and is integrated into thousands of large and small businesses, increasing the security of their applications and interactions with businesses. In a world where data breaches and leaked information is rampant, Twilio’s Account Security products are at the forefront of combating vulnerabilities through end-user fraud. We need to understand the requirements of application developers and IT leaders to bring a high quality, secure and easy of use solution for their users. To do this we will need continue to launch new products and support existing ones. You will get to own these products from both a technical and business perspective.
