As Graphiq builds out the world's largest and most comprehensive knowledge graph, our News Desk team helps journalists fully leverage our library by creating and distributing relevant visualizations to our publisher partner network each and every day through the Graphiq Feed.  Inspired by the newsrooms we work with, the Graphiq News Desk follows the news, building suites of visualizations to be sent out to our network of over 3000 journalists at top tier publications (Associated Press, USA Today, Yahoo, Sports Illustrated, MarketWatch, and Fox to name a few).

As a Data Visualization Editor, you will track (and predict) the news, brainstorm and create one-of-a-kind data visualizations that utilizes Graphiq’s massive Knowledge Graph, and collaborate with our Product Management and Partner Management teams to drive platform innovation that meets our customer's’ needs.

We’re looking for natural storytellers with an interest in data-driven journalism and interactive media design. Technical experience working with data (MySQL, Excel, ETL, Basic Programming) is a plus but not a requirement. This position blends the creative aspects of story ideation and UX design with data analysis and research to deliver a product that drives at the heart of Graphiq’s mission to deliver knowledge.

As our News Desk is built to mirror newsrooms within major media organizations, you will learn the intricacies of the news cycle, and develop skills in project management, data manipulation and analysis, and the foundation of Graphiq's operations.

Responsibilities and compensation package will be commensurate with experience.
