Our SDK team mission is to build world class Software Development Kits that any developer building applications to utilize the Box Platform efficiently and easily.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a collaborative team building high quality open-source SDKs. Our SDK Team designs and builds the SDKs that power Box provided applications as well as 3rd party developed applications. You'll work as part of a cross functional team delivering SDKs that power these applications. 
How will you grow with us? You'll be directly responsible for driving iOS SDK development. In your first couple of weeks, you'll work closely with our internal iOS Developers to learn all about our SDKs and their usage within our applications. You'll make your first code changes, fix a few bugs, and work with your manager to set actionable career goals. 
Over your first few months you will build and deploy your first major SDK feature, help our team improve and evolve our processes as we continue to grow, and learn more about Box's business goals and how the team works to achieve them. 
Before long, you will own major SDK feature areas, lead the next big project we work on (we all take turns being 'project lead'), be a trusted and influential voice beyond the team, and help teach and mentor other engineers on the team and beyond. 
• 4+ years of professional software development experience 
• Strong experience with iOS and Swift and/or Objective-C programming 
• Strong knowledge of software design principles 
• Experience with object oriented codebases, and the ability to learn them quickly 
• Academic background in Computer Science or a related field Bonuses 
• Project leadership experience 
• Ownership of large features or entire iOS apps and/or SDKs
