Twilio is looking for a strategic, creative, and technically curious product marketer who will define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Twilio’s flagship product line, Messaging. We don’t have hard and fast requirements - everyone is different. We are looking for you to demonstrate whether you have the core attributes of a great product marketer.

  • We’d love to hear how you used metrics and analysis to drive informed business decisions.
  • You can get things done. We want to talk about how you manage projects.
  • Messaging and positioning for competitive differentiation are second nature to you, and you can demonstrate that you have the writing chops to land your message. You know how to enable and educate internal audiences about how to position competitively.
  • You will manage a team--show us that you’ve managed people and helped them grow.


Bonus points:

  • You've worked with technology products that have targeted developers with cloud-based services, especially as horizontal platforms.
  • You have experience targeting multiple segments. So in addition to developers, you've worked with technology products that have targeted enterprises via direct, online, and channel strategies.
  • You understand the global telecommunications provider ecosystem.
  • You have a good understanding of Twilio's value prop and the apps that have already been built. You can build a Twilio app yourself.



  • You can develop a deep understanding of what success means for different customer segments, and create and execute the campaigns to achieve that success.
  • You can formulate compelling ways to connect with your identified customers and how Twilio can address their pain points.
  • You can drive preference for the Twilio brand and messaging products.
  • You can define product positioning and messaging (and test it), narrative, and rolling thunder of launches and PR.
  • You can manage launches.
  • You can work with the product, marketing, and sales teams creating GTM strategy and tactics.
  • You’ve done pricing before--formulating pricing strategy and testing packaging.
  • You can help your team do all of the above and make them better at it over time.
